Area Agency on Aging in Western Massachusetts

Aging Services Access Point

Franklin County Home Care Corporation (FCHCC), an Area Agency on Aging (AAA), is a private, non-profit corporation that develops, provides and coordinates a range of services to support independent living.

FCHCC provides home and community programs for the area known as Franklin County, plus the four Worcester County towns of Athol, Petersham, Phillipston and Royalston for elders, persons with disabilities and caregivers as the Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) and AAA. FCHCC also operates programs in Hampshire, Hampden and Berkshire Counties.

FCHCC helps older Americans, persons with disabilities and caregivers maximize independence and quality of life by providing information, consultation, referral, assistance with care transitions, and services to support and assist them.

We are committed to preventing or postponing the need for institutional care, facilitating the return home after an institutional stay, advocating for elders and persons with disabilities, funding local projects and providing support to local Councils on Aging and Senior Centers.

Locally, our network helps see which programs and services match your needs and situation.

As part of a nationwide network of Area Agencies on Aging, we can help caregivers and elders who live in different parts of the country get the services and information they need.

One telephone call can put you in touch with dedicated professionals who will provide you individualized help.

Our Diversity Statement

FCHCC is committed to diversity in employment practices and service delivery. Our agency prohibits discrimination and takes affirmative action in these areas to serve people in our community with fairness and respect for all. We recognize that many differences among people may be barriers to inclusion. These differences include race, physical appearance and ability, sex, age, nationality and ancestry, class, religious and political beliefs, marital status, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We welcome and value all persons and we dedicate our agency to an ongoing effort to achieve the goal of greater diversity among our employees, clients and others whom we serve.
