Senior Dining Centers (Congregate Meals)
Senior
Dining Centers, formerly known as congregate meals, and Luncheon Clubs provide
hot, noon meals for elders age 60 and older and their spouses of any
age. The meals are offered at one of nine Senior Centers or one of nine
Luncheon Clubs listed below. Dining Centers offer the opportunity to have
a well-balanced meal (600-800 calories), no salt added. Non-sugar desserts
are available. Come and socialize with friends and neighbors.
Menus are published monthly in The Good Life, as well as the Friday edition of the Greenfield Recorder and the Quabbin Times section of the Athol Daily News.
Reservations for meals at Dining Centers and Luncheon Clubs are required one day in advance. Call centers between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to make your reservation. There are no financial eligibility requirements or cost for the meal, though voluntary donations are accepted. You do not have to live in the community where you dine.
