Florence Savings Bank Grants

Florence Savings Bank (FSB) has a grant program to support local nonprofits. Customers of FSB are asked to vote for their favorite nonprofit. Those with the largest number of votes can get grants from $500 to $4000. It only took 68 votes to qualify last year.

This year we'd like to ask people to spread the word and have FSB customers vote for "The SHINE Program, 330 Montague City Rd, Turners Falls, MA," which extends into FSB service area. Voting can be done online at www.florencesavings.com (click on the icon in the middle of the home page) or by paper ballot, which I have. Either way you must fill out nonprofit name address and town.

You must be a customer of FSB.

If you and another person are both listed on one account, you may both vote, but only once each.

Voting ends December 31, 2008.

The SHINE program helps elders and caregivers evaluate health insurance and precription drug plans to get the "best bang for the buck."
