Healthy Eating For Successful Living in Older Adults

This is a 6 session program for seniors who want to learn more about nutrition and how lifestyle changes can promote better health. The focus of this program is to stress heart and bone healthy nutrition strategies to help maintain or improve participants’ wellness and independence, and prevent chronic disease development or progression. Through participation individuals build a sense of empowerment as they accomplish incremental changes. The program also includes support for physical activity in conjunction with sound nutrition practices. Lot’s of group support and fun with food and movement!
