Advantage is a prescription drug plan available to Massachusetts's residents
age 65 and older as well as to younger, low-income individuals with disabilities.
It offers unlimited prescription drug coverage that is combined with
an out-of -pocket-spending limit to provide medications at a lower cost
to the consumer.
Prescription Advantage was created by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is administered by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs.
Enrollees pay premiums, deductibles and co-payments as a graduated rate based on household income.
