Notice of Life Sustaining Equipment

If you or a loved one relies on electrically operated life-sustaining medical equipment or devices, and you may be in immediate danger if your electric service is interrupted, please fill out the Notice of Life Sustaining Equipment form (PDF) and return it to:

National Grid
PO Box 960
Northboro, MA 01532-0960

Their telephone number for questions is 1-800-322-3223. The National Grid uses your contact information to notify you of planned power outages and also to let you know when power will be restored in the event of an unplanned outage. While the National Grid informs customers about planned power outages and works hard to restore power service as quickly as possible during unplanned outages, restoration does take time, and it should be part of your emergency plan to manage through any power outage.
