This Veterans R&R Center is modeled after the VeteCare concept that had previously been used in the 1980s by the first Massachusetts Chapter (#50) of Vietnam Veterans of American at a location on Federal St. Open Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm.
VeteCare provides a single source site for information relevant to Veterans and their families in the areas of Housing, Health Care, Education and Employment. All of these assistive programs exist at this time and the R&R Center proposes to provide the experts from those programs for onsite instruction to veterans and their families.
The office is led by Charles Loven, Greenfield Veterans Service Agent and the provider of Massachusetts Chapter 115 for veterans.
