Get on the Bus and Walk!
FRTA is providing FREE bus service from Athol, Orange and Erving to the walk in Turners Falls. Bus will have a special drawing for prizes! Get your team together and then get on the bus and walk for Meals on Wheels. RSVP required by April 21. Please call the number below where you will get on the bus:

Pre-Walk Events
April 23: Erving Spaghetti Supper to Benefit Meals on Wheels. Two sittings: 5pm and 6 pm on Friday, April 23 at the Erving Senior Center, 18 Pleasant St. Erving, MA 01344. $6 for adults/ $3 for children. Call to make a reservation, 413-423-3308.
April 28th: All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Supper to Benefit Meals on Wheels at Orange Senior Center, 135 East Main St., Orange, MA 01364. $6.00/adult. More info? Call Charlotte at 978-544-7082.
May 1st, 6:30-8:30 am a.m. FREE Breakfast for Walkers riding the bus from Athol Senior Center. Bus leaves at 9am. Reservations required by calling Joanne at 978-249-9001.
May 1st, 8 – 9 a.m. On the Bus Sen- Off Bi-Centennial Breakfast. $5 at Orange Senior Center. Reservations required by calling Charlotte at 978-544-7082
May 1st, Erving Pancake and Sausage Breakfast to Benefit Meals on Wheels. FREE TO THOSE WHO WILL WALK THE WALK and $5 for others. 8-9:30 am at Erving Senior Center, 18 Pleasant St., Erving, MA 01344. Free bus transport will then bring walkers to the walk. Please call and make a reservations 413-423-3308.

We have many volunteer jobs ranging from providing staff support as we organize the walk to helping on the day of the walk, Saturday, May 1, 2010, setting up, dismantling or staffing the walk.
